Baseball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Boylan Catholic Titans. If the J-Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 11-0 to the Titans when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jefferson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emmanuel Del Real, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Jefferson's record now sits at 6-15-2. As for Boylan Catholic, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-13 record.

While Jefferson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
