Volleyball Recap: Central Indians vs. Jefferson City Jays

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jefferson City Jays.

Greely Simpson paced Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Simpson got some help from Hayden Root and her ten assists.

Jefferson City found their leader in sophomore Ella Showers, who had six digs and three aces.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Jefferson City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Central has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Kearney on the 20th. As for Jefferson City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 1-1 tie against Pembroke Hill on the 20th.
