Football Recap: Cedar Grove Gets the Win

After losing to Luella the last time they met, Cedar Grove decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Saints secured a 19-13 W over the Lions on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saints.

Luella's loss came despite strong showings from Markel Aguirre and Aiden Rucker. Aguirre picked up 118 receiving yards and one score, while Rucker threw for 135 yards and a pair of TDs.

The win got Cedar Grove back to even at 5-5. As for Luella, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Cedar Grove nor Luella have any future games scheduled.
