Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lugoff-Elgin). They were the clear victors by a 19-6 margin over the Spring Valley Vikings on Thursday. The Demons haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Ella Sheorn was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kayley Lynch, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Lugoff-Elgin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Lugoff-Elgin's record now sits at 10-12. As for Spring Valley, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-20.

As of now, neither Lugoff-Elgin nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
