Volleyball Recap: Lopez Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lopez lost against Orcas Island back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lobos fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 3-2. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lopez took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-18, 25-27, 25-18, 15-11.

Lopez's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Orcas Island, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Lopez will face off against Shoreline Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Orcas Island, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Mt. Baker on the 18th.
