Basketball Recap: Cusick Comes Up Short

Cusick lost to Northport back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 42-39. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cusick's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Northport, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cusick is set to face off against their familiar foe Curlew at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Northport will square off against rival Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
