Flag Football Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy fell victim to Monarch and their airtight defense on Monday. They took a blow against the Coyotes, falling 50-0. The Commanders just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row.

Sidney Miller was a one-woman wrecking crew For Monarch. as she threw for 85 yards and five TDs, and also rushed for 31 yards and one touchdown. Those five passing touchdowns gave Miller a new career-high.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Monarch, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

Kennedy has already played their next matchup, a 28-13 loss against Thomas Jefferson on the 7th. As for Monarch, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Poudre School District at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Coyotes 12.4, the Stars 5.3) so any points scored will be well earned.
