Baseball Recap: West Geauga Wolverines vs. Hawken Hawks
West Geauga extended their losing streak to five on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 10-10 in the process. They lost 10-0 to the Hawken Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Monday.
As for Hawken, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won eight games by ten runs or more so far this season.
For Hawken's part, they let Ethan Gipson and Asher Kimball run wild. Gipson got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Kimball went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
