Flag Football Game Preview: Newton Rams vs. Druid Hills Red Devils + Official Tickets

The Newton Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Druid Hills Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Newton's defense has only allowed 9.9 points per game this season, so Druid Hills' offense will have their work cut out for them.

Newton is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Riverdale just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They and the Raiders finished up their contest with a 6-6 draw.

Meanwhile, while Druid Hills put up plenty of points on Monday, the same can't be said for North Atlanta. The Red Devils blew past the Warriors, posting a 32-0 win. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 20 points or more this season.

Druid Hills pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.5 points on average over those games. Newton's tie gives them a new season record of 8-4-1.
