Basketball Recap: Uniontown's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Uniontown entered their contest against Prairie View on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Uniontown Eagles took a 64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prairie View Buffalos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 71-44 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2022.

Uniontown's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3. As for Prairie View, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Uniontown will square off against Northeast at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. Prairie View has already played their next game (against Burlington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
