Garden Spot has gone a perfect 3-0 against Columbia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Garden Spot Spartans will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Columbia Crimson Tide at 4:15 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Wednesday.

Garden Spot is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Lebanon. Garden Spot blew past Lebanon 17-2 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Cedars: they've now won five in a row.

Ryder Hertzler was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Hertzler was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
