Kleat Martens Delivers Electric Effort Vs Hinton

Starting off the list is Hooker's Kleat Martens, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Martens threw for 290 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 10-for-10 passing, and also rushed for 31 yards.

The win was the fourth in a row for Hooker, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. Martens and Hooker will take on Cashion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kelan Estep Delivers Best Performance of Season

Sadly, Kelan Estep posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Watonga over Cashion on Friday. Estep rushed for 92 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 197 yards and two touchdowns on only 18 passes.

Watonga is on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. Estep and Watonga will take on Hinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tristan Dobbins Turns in Season-Best Performance

Watonga came up short on Friday despite Tristan Dobbins delivering his best game to date. Dobbins picked up two sacks and made 12 total tackles.

On the season, Dobbins has averaged 4.2 total tackles per game and for the season has those 2 sacks. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 14.6 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 70.8 receiving yards.

Trace Duncan produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hooker to the win on Friday. Duncan picked up 134 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 59 yards.

This year, Duncan has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 48 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he had one receiving touchdown.

Justin Palacios Goes Supernova in Hooker Win
