Edward Little won the last time they faced Nokomis and Hayleigh Merrill did her part to make sure it happened again. The Red Eddies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warriors on Monday for which the team can thank Merrill, who had ten aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Edward Little was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-14.

The victory made it two in a row for Edward Little and bumps their season record up to 8-2. As for Nokomis, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Edward Little will head out to square off against Mt. Ararat at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nokomis, they will venture away from home to challenge Messalonskee at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
