Softball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mt. Pleasant came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-3 to the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks. The Panthers have struggled against the Golden Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Mt. Pleasant now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mid-Prairie, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Looking ahead, Mt. Pleasant will head out to face off against Fairfield at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Mid-Prairie, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against West Branch at 7:00 p.m.
