Volleyball Recap: Denver Jewish Day Falls to Pikes Peak Christian in First Game of Season

Denver Jewish Day unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Pikes Peak Christian Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Pikes Peak Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denver Jewish Day will take on Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pikes Peak Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Elbert at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
