Gorham faced Biddeford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Rams never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Gorham pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Biddeford, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Gorham will challenge rival Cheverus at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 0.5, the Stags 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Biddeford is set to square off against their familiar foe Westbrook at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
