Sierra Vista extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping them up to 5-0. They came out on top against the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks by a score of 2-0. The Mountain Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Diamondbacks, too.

Averie Gidge paced Sierra Vista's offense, picking up 12 kills. Gidge got some help from Taryn Ah Mow and her eight assists.

As for Desert Oasis, they now have a losing record of 2-3. The matchup marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

When it comes to explaining why Desert Oasis lost, don't look at Madalynn Tobiasson. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and three assists.

Sierra Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Shadow Ridge on the 16th. As for Desert Oasis, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Green Valley on the 16th.
