The East Tartans' road trip will continue as they head out to face Ohio Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on February 5th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Saturday, East suffered a rough 69-46 loss at the hands of the Tigers. East was down 56-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Ohio Valley Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 56-20 loss at the hands of Cross Lanes Christian. Ohio Valley Christian has struggled against the Warriors recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
East has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Ohio Valley Christian, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
Everything came up roses for East against the in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 65-28 win. With East ahead 46-11 at the half, the game was all but over already.
