The Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Scottsdale Christian Academy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

Scottsdale Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 26-7 margin over Red Rock on Monday. Considering the Eagles have won four games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Evin Ott, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Campbell Reader was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Scottsdale Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .682. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Arizona Lutheran Academy came up short against Santa Cruz Valley on Monday, falling 19-1. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scottsdale Christian Academy skirted past Arizona Lutheran Academy 3-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2018. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
