Softball Recap: Harrison Comes Up Short

Harrison extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 2-5 in the process. They lost 11-0 to the Troy Trojans. The match marked the first time this year in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Harrison saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caiden Baird, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

As for Troy, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. 11 seems to be a good number for they as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

On Troy's side, the team relied heavily on Amayah Kennedy, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Kennedy has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily May, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs.

Coincidentally, Harrison and Troy will both be playing Bradford the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Railroaders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
