Volleyball Recap: Guy Julavits' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ludlowe over Norwalk

Ludlowe was the 3-0 winner over Norwalk when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell 3-1 to the Bears on Friday.

Ludlowe started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-20, 25-14, 25-21.

Ludlowe's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Guy Julavits, who had 11 digs.

Ludlowe's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Norwalk, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ludlowe is set to face off against their familiar foe Darien at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Norwalk will square off against rival New Canaan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
