             Sierra entered their tilt with Oakdale on Tuesday with six consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with seven. They strolled past the Oakdale Mustangs with  points to spare, taking the game  30-14. Given the Timberwolves' advantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings  (they are ranked 150th, while the Mustangs are ranked 459th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Sierra found their leader in underclassman  Tessa Zalunardo, who rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 177 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of her passes. Those 76  rushing yards gave  Zalunardo a new career-high.  Janessa Barnes did her part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 115  receiving yards.
 On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Sierra's defense and their three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Margeil Garcia.
 Sierra's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 17-5. As for Oakdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
 Sierra will have a chance to go back-to-back against Oakdale: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
