Softball Recap: Evergreen Park Takes a Loss

Evergreen Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-2 to the Richards Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Mustangs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Evergreen Park now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Richards, their victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-9.

Evergreen Park and Richards should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Mustangs will square off against Hillcrest at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (244 vs. 554). Meanwhile, Richards (ranked 159th) will meet Bremen (ranked 434th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
