Baseball Recap: Roxbury Comes Up Short

Roxbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Delbarton Green Wave. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 last Monday.

Roxbury's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-1. As for Delbarton, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 27-3.

Coming up, Roxbury will take on Montville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last five games the Mustangs have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Delbarton, they will face off against Morris Knolls at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
