Baseball Recap: Dublin Comes Up Short

Dublin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Breckenridge Buckaroos. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Buckaroos when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dublin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hudson Joslin, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Even though they lost, Dublin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive games.

Dublin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Breckenridge, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-8-1.

While Dublin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
