Basketball Recap: Amherst Comes Up Short

Amherst and Loop squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Amherst had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 66-36 loss at the hands of the Loop Longhorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 85-45 back in December of 2024.

Amherst's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Loop, their victory bumped their record up to 26-6.

As of now, neither Amherst nor Loop have any future games scheduled.
