It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Oconomowoc ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Waukesha South Blackshirts out 70-68. The Raccoons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jordan Garcia and Zayus Dewalt certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Garcia went 9 for 15 on his way to 17 points and six rebounds, while Dewalt posted 25 points. That was a full 36.8% of Waukesha South's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Tyson Tiegs was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

Oconomowoc has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Waukesha South, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Oconomowoc wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 69-45 defeat against Watertown on the 11th. Waukesha South has also already played their next game, a 67-54 loss against New Berlin West on the 14th.
