Baseball Recap: Upstate Eagles vs. Greater Gwinnett Christian Barons
There's no place like home for Upstate, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They skirted past the Greater Gwinnett Christian Barons 6-5.
Owen Brewster was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Brett Schaefer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Upstate pushed their record up to 12-10 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Greater Gwinnett Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
As of now, neither Upstate nor Greater Gwinnett Christian have any future games scheduled.
