Football Game Recap: Cleveland Central vs. Ridgeland

If Ridgeland were expecting to get some payback for the 21-45 defeat against Cleveland Central the last time they met, then they were left disappointed. On Friday, Ridgeland came up short against Cleveland Central, falling 20-27. If the result catches you off guard, it should: Ridgeland were the far and away favorite. The game pushed Ridgeland down to 4-2 and pulled Cleveland Central up to the reverse at 2-4.

Next week Ridgeland take on Callaway at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'. As for Cleveland Central, they will face off against Vicksburg. Cleveland Central will be strutting in after a victory while Vicksburg will be stumbling in from a loss.
