Soccer Recap: First Assembly Christian Takes a Loss

First Assembly Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the St. George's Gryphons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to First Assembly Christian of the 10-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

First Assembly Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for St. George's, their win bumped their record up to 3-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Assembly Christian will challenge Harding Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. George's, they will square off against St. Benedict at Auburndale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. George's will be up against St. Benedict at Auburndale's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.2 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
