Soccer Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Thursday. Milton took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Weymouth. The defeat continues a trend for Milton in their meetings with Weymouth: they've now lost seven in a row.

Milton's loss dropped their record down to 3-10-3. As for Weymouth, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Milton will venture away from home to face off against Braintree at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Weymouth, they will head out to square off against Newton North at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Newton North's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
