Basketball Game Preview: Venice Indians vs. Port Charlotte Pirates + Official Tickets

The Venice Indians will take on the Port Charlotte Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Venice is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

On Wednesday, Venice came up short against Riverview Sarasota and fell 47-36.

The losing side was boosted by Brooklyn Dominguez, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Palao, who scored nine points.

Meanwhile, Port Charlotte earned a 40-32 victory over Manatee on Thursday.

Venice's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Port Charlotte, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-3.
