Basketball Recap: Brattleboro Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Brattleboro won the last time they faced Mt. St. Joseph Academy, and John Satterfield did his part to make sure it happened again. The Brattleboro Bears enjoyed a cozy 73-56 win over the Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave on Saturday thanks in part to Satterfield, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Matthew Worden was another key player, putting up four points. Those points marked the first that he's scored this season.

Brattleboro's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Brattleboro will head out on the road to challenge Otter Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brattleboro has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 209 points over their last three matches. Mt. St. Joseph Academy has already played their next game (against Burr & Burton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
