Soccer Recap: Baldwin Comes Up Short

Baldwin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the William Penn Charter Quakers, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Baldwin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while William Penn Charter are ranked sixth).

Baldwin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for William Penn Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 14-1-2.

Looking ahead, Baldwin is taking a road trip to square off against Springside Chestnut Hill Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for William Penn Charter, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Germantown Academy at 9:15 a.m. on November 8.
