Solon scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the Wadsworth Grizzlies 69-65. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 467th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 98th).

Solon's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Wadsworth, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Solon will take on Hudson in a holiday battle at at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wadsworth, they and North Royalton will meet on Saturday for a tough Bear Battle. Wadsworth is facing North Royalton at the right time seeing as North Royalton is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
