The Ayden - Grifton Chargers and the Pamlico County Hurricanes will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. Pamlico County took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Ayden - Grifton, who comes in off a win.

Ayden - Grifton is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Southern Wayne. The Chargers enjoyed a cozy 66-52 victory over the Saints on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Pamlico County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by New Bern and fell 72-40.
