Basketball Recap: Scammon Bay Takes a Loss

After flying high against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on Thursday, Scammon Bay came back down to earth. The Scammon Bay Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 74-73 to the Akiachak Huskies. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (67), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was DALLAS KAGANAK, who posted 20 points. ALBERT YUNAK was another key player, putting up 17 points.

Scammon Bay's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Akiachak, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.

As of now, neither Scammon Bay nor Akiachak have any future games scheduled.
