NorthWood and Andrean squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but NorthWood had to settle for second. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fighting 59ers. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

NorthWood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Reed, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double.

NorthWood's loss dropped their record down to 21-13. As for Andrean, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-3.

As of now, neither NorthWood nor the Fighting 59ers have any future games scheduled.
