Baseball Recap: Uniontown Eagles vs. Central Heights Vikings

Uniontown had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Heights Vikings on Tuesday.

For Central Heights' part, Laiken Brockus was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned run off one hit (he also only allowed one walk). Brockus was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Colton Caswell was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kord Stroup, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Uniontown will be playing in front of their home fans against Crest at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central Heights will take on Northern Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
