Basketball Recap: Bella Vista Takes a Loss

Bella Vista lost against Rio Americano back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bella Vista Broncos took a 69-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rio Americano Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 566th, while the Raiders are ranked 192nd).

Bella Vista's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Rio Americano, their record is now 16-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bella Vista will challenge Inderkum at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Inderkum's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 15 matches. Rio Americano has already played their next contest (against Ponderosa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
