Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Walther Christian Academy walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Hawks on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Broncos also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Kariyah Perez paced Walther Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Perez got some help from Isabella Rosado and her six assists. Jayln Amador controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Walther Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. As for Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park, their loss dropped their record down to 6-17.
