Volleyball Recap: Fallbrook Takes a Loss

Fallbrook lost against Sage Creek back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 3-2.

Fallbrook took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-20, 19-25, 20-25, 25-18, 15-12.

Taylor Thomas paced Fallbrook's offense, picking up 21 kills. Thomas got some help from Stella Grubaugh and her 42 assists. Grubaugh was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Fallbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Sage Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-13 record this season.

Fallbrook will head out to face off against San Pasqual at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Golden Eagles at the right time seeing as the Golden Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Sage Creek, they will host Mission Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
