Soccer Preview: Granger vs. Jordan
The Granger Lancers will head out on the road to take on the Jordan Beetdiggers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Granger is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
Granger managed to keep up with Cedar Valley until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Granger lost 7-0 to Cedar Valley. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Aviators are ranked 20th).
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jordan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against Tooele on Thursday as Jordan made off with a 5-2 win. While the Beetdiggers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
