Baseball Recap: Palisades Has No Trouble Against Fairfax

Palisades won the last time they faced Fairfax and things went their way on Friday too. The Dolphins blew past the Lions 12-1. The Dolphins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

Palisades got a great performance from Parsa Imankhan as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Imankhan has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jack O'Brien was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Roman Hawk was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and three RBI.

Palisades kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Palisades has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Fairfax, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-18.

As of now, neither Palisades nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
