Soccer Recap: Pike County Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Pike County kept a clean sheet against Rutland on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Hurricanes. Jacey Fillingim was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

The win (which was Pike County's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Rutland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
