Cape Henlopen put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Delmarva Christian Royals as they made off with a 10-2 victory. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Royals, too.

Cape Henlopen got a massive performance out of Bri Windish, who fired off two home runs and one stolen base while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave Windish a new career-high. Ava Calciano was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Cape Henlopen lost a few balls and finished the game with five home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Cape Henlopen pushed their record up to 13-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Delmarva Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Cape Henlopen has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Early College on the 1st. As for Delmarva Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 19-2 loss against North Dorchester on the 2nd.
