Volleyball Recap: Mifflin County Comes Up Short

Mifflin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Red Land Patriots, falling 3-0. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Mifflin County was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-14, 25-19.

Mifflin County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Red Land, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mifflin County will square off against rival Lower Dauphin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Red Land is set to take on their familiar foe Hershey at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
