Basketball Recap: Eldred Extends Winning Streak to Three

Eldred entered their tilt with Fallsburg on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They enjoyed a cozy 72-58 win over the Comets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-30 back in December of 2025.

Trai Kaufmann produced another solid effort dropping a double-double with 31 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in field goal percentage (61%). Another player making a difference was James Deyermond, who shot 86% from the field en route to 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Eldred's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Fallsburg, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
