The biggest upset of the week belonged to McNary, who took down 88th ranked McKay, 35-15. Hayden Gosling threw for 304 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
Jaylynn Bailey of South Salem ran for the longest rushing play in 6A Central Valley this season against West Salem last week. Bailey ran for 80 yards on the play and finished with 266 on the day as his team lost to the Titans.
Garrett Hittner was the best wideout in the league this week as the Celtics defeated the Scots. Hittner tallied six receptions for 175 yards. Brett Hildebrand helped McNary's passing attack out by catching two balls for 70 yards.
6-foot-1 quarterback Gosling of McNary is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1422. He has also thrown eight touchdowns. On the ground, South Salem's Bailey has rushed for 1201 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Nicholas Moran. The Sprague star has 25 catches for 445 yards.
Sprague's Devvon Gage is a mere 14 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 145 carries Gage has accumulated 986 yard this year.
A big matchup in 6A Central Valley this week will be when Isaac Parker's team takes on West Salem. The Celtics are in fourth place, while Shawn Stanley's team is in first place.
The Titans extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Scott Dufault's team, 36-29. The win marks seventh in a row for the West Salem.
