After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Gonzales brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Everything went their way against the Yoakum Bulldogs on Friday as the Gonzales Apaches made off with a 4-1 win. Considering the Apaches have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Gonzales pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four games. As for Yoakum, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Gonzales wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against San Antonio Memorial on the 28th.
